Back home
I got back home Saturday, but the last week has proved to be rough getting back to this schedule. The last two days in Japan I spent shopping and packing. Friday night we stopped in at Roppongi for a few drinks and to see some local entertainment. We headed home before the trains stopped running. We decided to hit up the green car, so we didn't have to stand on the ride home. I had a great time in Japan and hope to visit there again some day.

Day 13 in Japan
I stayed out way to late because when I woke up I had to hurry up and pack my stuff because it was check out time. On my way to the train station I got a hair cut and found this public bath house. I didn't get to shower before I left the room, so I stopped in and cleaned up. I finally got on a train back to Tokyo. I was suppose to go hang out in Shinjuku with Ray's brother inlaw, but I had such a bad hang over all I could do was sleep when I got home.
Day 12 in Japan
Started of the day by walking up a mountain, I tried to see as much as I could In one day. After spending eight hours looking at temples and shrines, I stopped at this place and got a back and foot massage. It was well worth the money. I then found Kyoto's night life and drank until early hours in the morning.
Day 11 in Japan
After I got back from Utsunomiya I stopped by the house for some freash clothes and headed back out to hop on the next train to Kyoto. When I got to Kyoto I grabbed a hotel room and started making plans for things I need to see while I was there. I can't remeber all the names of the shrines and temples I went to but on the first day I only had time to see one.
Dat 10 in Japan
I took the bullet train north of Tokyo to visit a friend in Utsunomiya. We had a hearty dinner and a few drinks. Ray and his family where wonderful host. I just wish I had more time to visit with them. After dinner I grabbed a hotel room and took an early train back to Tokyo in the morning.

Day 8 in Japan
I meet some friends at Myoden station and took a ride around town. Its nice to have someone with you that can read and speak the language. I needed a new camera because I dropped mine so we stopped by a shop in Ueno. Electronics are a little more expensive than in the states. I was kind of surprised at that. Afterward we had lunch. I had eel for the first time, it was pretty good. We walked around the market for a bit then took off for Tokyo tower. The tower has a great view of the city. I took quite a few photos. Next we headed to a disaster simulation center. One simulator was for monsoon and the other earthquake. It was interesting. To finish off the evening we went down to the water front at Godiva. Lots of shopping and food. The highlight of Godiva was the Sasuke(G4tv Ninja Warrior) practice course. That was pretty awesome.

Day 7 in Japan
Today we where back in Akihabara in search of an elusive inhabitant that is indigenous to Akihabara Japan. These "MOE" (moo-eeh)creatures are the talk of the town and can only be found in a Maid Cafe, yes I said Maid Cafe. These girls entertain you with silly games and simple meals, with the hope to bring a smile to your face. If your a man or woman and are ever in Tokyo you must stop in and spend a few moments with these kind hearted girls. Ummmmmm....rright!

Day 6 in Japan
I spent most of the sleeping off a wicked hangover. I was running out of clean clothes so I did some laundry when I got up. There is no dryer so you have to hang your clothes out side to dry. You better not have any skid marks or your neighbors will know. Later we went out to a Katsu restaurant, which was delicious.

Day 5 in Japan
My buddy had to work all day so I headed into Tokyo by myself to explore Shinjuku. There is a lot of shopping to be done there. There is also an area called Kabukicho, aka the RED LIGHT district. I had some lunch and a few beers then fell asleep on the train back home. I woke up before my stop, thankfully.
