Back to school

One of my annual duties as Uncle is to take the kids to get new backpacks for school. We went to Toys r us because they had a buy a backpack get a lunch box free deal. Then for lunch we had wings, oh glorious wings. Hey I'm aloud a little splurg on my diet during the weekends. By the way I've lost 30 lbs, and still going strong. I may have to start going to the gym to reach my goal before Japan.

Chucky cheese!!!

I some how got suckered into take some family photos. Then around the corner was a Chucky Cheese so I stuck around a bit for some pizza. The kids had a blast. That the first time I've been to a Chucky cheese sense I was kid. Then went to a pool side BBQ at a friends place for a while. Now I'm heading to another friends to hang out and watch the Affliction fight. Its been a busy day.

Okonomiyaki!!!

I was invited to eat a Japanese dish called Okonomiyaki which roughly translated means "whatever you want". Its a pancake batter with cabbage and whatever you want in it. In this case we had shrimp, squid, and fish rolls. You covered it in Japaneses mayonnaise and okonomiyaki sauce. I guess its the Japanese equivalent to pizza. A little Sake didn't hurt anything either!

I got my new Fujifilm FINEPIX camera from UPS today. I'm back in action.

Fun in the sun!

Saturday before we could cram in the truck and head for St Augustine to meet up with some friends. My freaking battery died in my truck, so we scrambled to get a new one then headed out. It was a beautiful day to be at the beach. You couldn't ask for better weather. I felt like I was in a Corona Light commercial. Good times!

oh no!!!

I broke my camera, that kinda sucks but gives me a good reason to go get a better one. I've got quite a bit of use out of it.

On another note this last weekend has been kind of rough. Who am I kidding this whole week has been a bit rough. I don't really feel like talking about it but things will look better soon I hope. I guess I just have to keep myself busy and time will tell.

I'm looking forward to this weekend. I hope everyone has a great 4th of July weekend!

Oh yeah but on the good side of things I've lost 27lbs, can i get a "WOOT WOOT"! I won the challenge with my co-worker and going to start another challenge with a diff co-worker to see if I can't lose a few more.
